And now after playing it for about a week, I can say it's awesome. My first impression of this game when I first looked at it was 'it looks like shit' but I gave it a chance because I heard it was really good. Mount & Blade: Warband is a standalone 'expansion.' It does not require the original Mount & Blade to be played.
